From 23-25 September 2009, renowned companies from the industry gathered again in Lyon (France) for the VGB Congress
"Power Plants 2009". As in every year, VINCI Energies Germany was represented at a collective stand with the companies G+H, Isolierungen Leipzig, Calanbau, Actemium, Axians and Nickel.

With a participation of over 100 companies, the congress achieved a new record. Topics such as increasing power plant efficiency and new methods of CO2 capture and storage for conventional power plants, as well as renewable energies and responsible use of nuclear power, were focused both on the agenda and at individual exhibition stands.

The collective VINCI stand clearly demonstrated that VINCI is able to offer an extensive portfolio of services to meet the upcoming modernisation needs in the European power production sector. This was underscored by the extensive number of technical discussions that took place at the stand.

Registration for next year is already under way. The VGB Congress “Power Plants 2010” will be held in Essen. Furthermore, next year Actemium will again attend the KELI conference for power plant automation, which will take place from 4-6 May in Dresden.
