The solar industry is continuing to grow – despite the financial crisis and economic recession. This will once again benefit Actemium’s Dresden BU, which responded to this market trend early on.

Having successfully wound up projects in the past, this time around the colleagues have been awarded a multi-million euro contract by Siemens for the installation of electrical, instrumentation and control systems at a new production plant for monosilane on the “Schwarze Pumpe” industrial estate in Saxony. Monosilane is a key source material for the production of solar silicon. The plant is scheduled to go into operation in March 2010.
