Project description:

The Halle-Leipzig BU received the contract from DOW Olefinverbund GmbH to erect the complete electrical, instrumentation and control systems for a new rubber plant.
With a total investment volume of EUR 3.3 million, (excluding supply of the main equipment) among other things approx. 3.5 km of cable trays and approx. 230 km of cables were installed.

Scope of supply for complete assembly of electrical, instrumentation and control systems:

  • Installation of main and branch cable trays
  • Laying and connection of power and control cables
  • Laying and connection of impulse and instrument air lines
  • Installation of normal and emergency lighting
  • Erection of electrical and I&C switchgear and distribution systems 
  • Installation of steam tracing systems incl. tubing
