Installation of the central process control system for the Bischofferode biomass power plant

Scope of services:
Hardware engineering, programming, CAD/CAE documentation, manufacture,
assembly, cold and hot commissioning, trial operation and operator training

Scope of delivery:

  • PCS7 process control system
  • In-situ measurement technique for water-steam system

  • Two redundant Intel Pentium IV 3.0 GHz servers
  • Optical system and terminal bus Industrial Ethernet 100Mbit/s with Scalance X204-2 and X202-2IRT (TCP/IP; ISO on TCP)
  • 1 engineering station with two 19" TFT monitors
  • 1 operator  station with three 19" TFT monitors, 1 operator station with two 19" TFT monitors and two operator stations with one 19" TFT monitor each
  • Two highly available AS 417-H control systems for water-steam system,  boiler, air condensor and black box systems
  • Redundant Profibus DP with ET200M (pulling and plugging with running systems, component diagnosis)
