Integrated engineering creates digital twin of a process plant
In a use case presented at the trade fair, Actemium implemented the “COMOS” plant design management system with the “PCS7” process control system from Siemens and used the “PAA” (Process Automation Accelerator) interface manager presented for the first time at the trade fair for standardised bi-directional data exchange from engineering to automation and maintenance via Augmensys’ UBIK® mobile solution. Thanks to Siemens’ “PAA” interface, complex engineering processes can be managed in a fully object-oriented manner across a wide range of corporate areas. This enables the use of smart systems to generate the digital twin for process industry 4.0 – over a plant’s entire life cycle.
