We are one of the world’s leading suppliers, particularly in the mega yacht segment with vessels of 160 meters in length or more. Our scope of supply includes electric propulsion, power supply, automation, navigation and dynamic positioning, communication, entertainment, special lighting and sound equipment, as well as safety and security systems, cable networks, and complete installations.

Shipping is already a relatively environmentally friendly mode of transport. Nevertheless, further environmental protection measures are necessary, and under the motto “Green Shipping,” the maritime industry is taking positive steps to reduce CO2 emissions and pollution from ships. However, new regulations and rising fuel costs are putting pressure on shipping companies. We develop innovative, cutting-edge technologies that aim to reduce emissions and operating costs. Our SAM Con shore power connections supply ships with emission-free power on land while their main and auxiliary engines are shut down. Our shaft generators are also becoming increasingly popular as they offer an economical and environmentally friendly solution for supplying power on board ships at sea.

Specialized vessels such as dredgers, tugs, pilot boats, rescue boats, cable-laying vessels, research vessels, survey vessels, icebreakers, and offshore wind farm installation vessels are primarily designed for specific tasks. They typically place high demands on onboard technology, e.g., applications that require high power supplies, reliable propulsion systems, and specific monitoring and control solutions.
